'Who this policy applies to:
This Privacy Policy applies to the handling of data supplied to arTag Ltd by any user of the www.artag.uk.com  website and arTag app ("Client").

Acceptance of this policy:
Any use of the arTag website and app, constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Data to which this policy applies:
This policy applies to any and all personal information supplied by a Client whether that information relates to that Client or to third parties who supplied that information to the Client. It also applies to anonymous information which may be gathered from a web browser or mobile device.

Awareness of third parties:
By submitting data to us, the Client takes responsibility for ensuring that any third parties supplying personal information are aware of the Client's collection of such data and accept it's transmission to arTag. Where appropriate the Client is responsible for making such third parties aware of this arTag Privacy Policy and the Client will indemnify arTag against any loss or damages as a result of their failure to communicate this Privacy Policy to third parties.

Use of information:
At all times arTag will endeavour not to use information outside of the purpose for which it was provided unless such a use is approved by the Client. We actively collect and retain personal information when a Client provides it voluntarily. We may passively collect and retain anonymous information about your browser, device connection, activity etc. using a variety of tools including cookies, server log files and analytics services.

Personal information will be used to respond to your requests for products, services and assistance, and to provide those products, services and assistance.

Anonymous information will be used to help us understand the preferences and trends of typical users, to optimise performance of our products and services and to diagnose faults/issues.

Technical and administrative staff at arTag and working on behalf of arTag may from time to time access both personal and anonymous information in order to administer and improve our products and services, but they will always keep this information confidential from parties outside arTag unless specifically permitted by the Client to divulge the information.

arTag may transfer personal or anonymous information to any party that acquires ownership or control of arTag, or that purchases all or substantially all of the assets of arTag.

Cookies:
These are small data files that may be stored on your device when you use a web browser to visit any arTag service. Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information unless you've deliberately supplied it yourself. Some arTag services and products do use cookies for the following purposes:
·       Storing authenticating credentials
·       Storing user preferences
·       To permit the use of web analytics services to track user behaviour and improve our products and services
·       To enhance user experience by allowing functionality that is only possible by storing information.

Sharing of information collected:
We will never voluntarily share personal information with any commercial partner or third party without your explicit opting-in to such sharing.

Billing information:
Where credit card or payment information is requested from you in order to bill for arTag products or services, all billing information is encrypted for your protection and no record of card or account details are kept by arTag, they will only ever be transmitted in encrypted form to, and stored securely by our third party payment processor.

Compelled disclosure:
arTag may release personally identifiable information to law enforcement agencies, government authorities or third parties if:
·       arTag is required to do so by law, search warrant, subpoena, court order or other legal process.
·       At arTag's discretion, when law enforcement or other governmental authorities have made a justified request.
·       arTag has a good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or personal safety of the Client, arTag or third parties.

Correcting and updating information:Where a client believes their personal information held by arTag is incorrect, they may request changes to this information in writing to arTag's registered office or email hello@artag.uk.com and arTag will update the information where possible and appropriate.

Security:
We make reasonable efforts to protect a Client's personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However arTag provides no warranties concerning the security or integrity of data transmitted or stored and can accept no liability whatsoever for a Client's losses resulting from loss of data.

Changes to policy:
We reserve the right to change or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes or updates will be effective immediately and will be posted at http://www.artag.uk.com/privacy-policy/

No expectation of privacy:
If a Client submits any information or communication to arTag over a public medium such as a website, social media, discussion board, blog or any other medium viewable by the general public, the Client shall have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality.

We are committed to resolving Clients' or potential Clients' privacy concerns. You should contact arTag by email to hello@artag.uk.com stating your concern and we will respond as soon as possible.
